Nil Krishna Sitaula
Our father passed away in Jhapa, Nepal. He and our mother were deeply religious and always supported the social causes in their community.
August 31, 2017
Jashoda Sitaula
Our mother passed away in Richmond, California, after living with Alzheimer's disease for about eight years.

The Foundation is Established
In their memory, our family formed the Nil Krishna Jashoda Sitaula Foundation — a nonprofit 501(c)(3) family trust based in Pinole, California — to carry their legacy forward into the community.
What We Do
Our Mission
Seven commitments guiding the foundation's work.
Teach our children to love and remember their parents, and carry their legacy to the next generation.
Facilitate support for senior citizens in the local Nepali community every year.
Help and support local Nepali children in sports, Nepali language, and cultural activities.
Help and support Nepali orphanages and elderly homes in Nepal.
Facilitate artists, poets, social workers, doctors, and journalists working for the community's interest.
Help remote government schools, and provide scholarships and awards to poor and talented students.
Coordinate with local US-based social organizations to find educational materials such as computers and other supplies for schools.
